Jundo for Swimmers

The JUNDO PREDICTOR© can predict times for Freestyle Swimming races either Long Course or Short Course with minimum input or prediction distance being 100 units (either metres or yards)

It can be used to help predict the best possible times of races, regardless of the calibre of the swimmer, whether they are Olympic calibre or promising youngsters. The only criteria required is that they are dedicated & can swim all the distances under consideration as well as their ability allows.

For all races, the minimum input distance (or distance for predictions) is 100m or 100y. It is NOT suitable to predict times for races shorter than this or use distances shorter than this as input.

All races are assumed to be swum in the same contemporary "form", either for current race predictions or historic ones, i.e. if you are using a 200m time & a 400m time to predict a 100m or 800m or 1500m time, it is assumed the 200m & 400m races were swum in the same "form" (i.e. at least in the same year). All races are assumed also to have been swum at the same altitude & atmospheric & pool conditions.

The races must also be of a comparable "quality" in order to be useful as input. The "quality" evaluation can only be ascertained through one's personal experience:

i.e. A swimmer who can swim 200m in 2'00.00 but swims 400m in only 4'30.00 does NOT have races of a comparable "quality" & predictions for 100m & 800m using those inputs will NOT be realistic.

Example use for Swimmers

In this example the user has entered the times with 'm' to mark the minutes, and 's' for seconds. Note the output is then shown in the same format.
